Halong Bay ranked in Top 15 most amazing rock formations
The BBC News recently released an article announcing that
Halong Bay (in the northern province of Quang Ninh) has been listed in Top 15 most amazing landscapes and rock formations throughout the world. It opened the article by praising that the Halong’s stunning landscapes and rock formations, which have been shaped and sculpted for over millions of years, hold invaluable clues to Earth's past and future.
“Halong Bay is a spectacular landscape dotted with limestone pillars, arches and caves. The rocks have been shaped by the repeated rise and fall of the sea over 500 million years.
