Hue Festival features old and new values
The biannual
Hue Festival, scheduled to organize from April 12th , will perform contemporary pop, rock and flamenco music in hope of attracting more young audiences.
The deputy director of the Hue Festival Centre, Huynh Tien Dat, expressed that many of audience members considered the event was only for traditional culture and old values. That’s the reason why the organizers of the Hue Festival have to make an effort not to exclude the young people joining the festival. During the week-long festival, lots of music bands from many countries of Britain, France, Germany and Japan will perform every night at An Dinh Palace, lying on the southern bank of the Perfume River opposite the former Imperial Citadel. ![]() Music performances during Hue festival 2014 They include Micachu from England, Stoffer and Maskinen from Denmark, Gasandji from Congo and Tararam from Israel.
