Vietnamese heritages praised in exhibitions
![]() Kites on an island in Quang Ngai, by Trinh Thu Nguyet In order to call people to partake in protecting and preserving the Vietnam’s heritages, Hanoi was in charge to be the first city among five destinations to display an exhibition on Vietnamese Heritage at the Ho Chi Minh Museum. Afterwards, the event also organized in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province on November 9th and then will take places in the remaining cities and provinces including Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh, Bac Lieu, Quang Nam, Da Nang, Dong Nai, An Giang, Thua Thien-Hue, Lam Dong and Quang Binh from now till February 28. |
The winning pictures selected from more than 6,000 submissions in the
Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards are presented in the exhibition. They are categorized in many subjects such as natural and cultural heritage, folk games, traditional music and dance, religion, beautiful moments in daily life, festivals, labor and production.
![]() A folk ceremony by Vu Quang Hung The Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards was held by the Vietnam Heritage Association in co-ordinate with the HCMC Cultural Heritage Association, sponsored by Vietnam Heritage Magazine and Canon. Its ceremony will be celebrated at the Reunification Palace in Ho Chi Minh City on November 21st on occasion of the 9th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Days on November 23rd. |
