Located in front of the Throne Palace and facing the Flag Tower, Noon Gate is the most dynamic and beautiful entrance to the Imperial City. It was built in 1837 in the Nguyen Dynasty with its U-shape architecture. While one takes a day trip to the Hue ancient capital, he will surely step into the Noon Gate (Cua Ngo Mon) because it is the main entrance. Cua Ngo Mon plays as an important part of Hue Complex Monuments, which was recognized as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. Also, it owns historical and cultural values not only for Hue city but also throughout Vietnam.
