Covering a total area of 23,400 ha with 1,300 island, Thac Ba lake in Vu Linh Commune of Yen Bai is one of three largest artificial lakes in Vietnam and well-known for the first hydro-power plant. Taking a boat trip on the Thac Ba Lake, tourist will have a chance to admire its spectacular scenery – a painting drawn from tranquil water dotted with green islands.
