Hue International Food Festival organized in Middle April

In the framework of the Festival Hue 2014, the Thua Thien Hue’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in co-ordination with Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Thua Thien Hue Hotel Association will in charge of organizing the Hue International Food Festival 2014, which is scheduled to start from April 15th and end on 19th at Phu Xuan Park, Hue City.

During the event, typical cuisine of Vietnam in general and Hue in particular along with cuisine from many attending countries will be honored and promoted to domestic and international visitors, in order to boost up the relationship and friendship between Vietnam and countries in the region and all over the world.

The festival will display more than 100 booths including over 20 international and lots of Vietnamese ones, which belong to famous restaurants and food areas. Especially, the festival will highlight 10 Vietnamese dishes which have recently acknowledged by Asian Record Organization.

Additionally, many exciting activities are planned to take place in hope of bringing new experiences to visitors like typical food exhibition; “Festival Beer” with many promotional activities; bartender performance programs; introduction of Hue cocktail trademark; cocktail made from local wines and some famous international brands of wine.

The Festival Hue, of which the Hue International Food Festival is one of its highlights, is hoped to attract more visitors traveling to Hue during the time of festival. Coming there, visitors will be offered to explore and enjoy lots of art and cultural programs as well as to taste many typical cuisine from Vietnam and from other nations throughout the world.
