Night market organized during Hue Festival 2014
Being scheduled to take place on April 12 in the ancient capital city of
Hue, the biennial cultural
Hue Festival will feature a night market with variety of stands and stores offering authentic Hue dishes and traditional craft products. The market is expected to attract more visitors to
tour in Hue and stay back in the city at night.
At the night market, visitors will have chance to taste Bun Bo Hue (Hue-style spicy beef noodles), Com Hen (rice with mussels), Banh Khoai (fried rice crepes), and various types of Che Hue (sweet pudding) as well as to buy some craft products like enamel, wood carving, bronze casting, conical hat, handmade embroidery, and bamboo and rattan knitting. In addition, the local culture will be reflected thoroughly through live traditional music performances, folk games so as to serve visitors.
